This
afternoon Mayor George Ferguson lead by example by purchasing an
electric bike from a local business ‘Atmosphere Electric Bikes’ to help him
with his duties across the City.
The
electric bike will help him with his travelling the City of Bristol in a number
of ways, and fits in perfectly with his plans for the future of the City:
· Massive reduction in Carbon use, which will help
achieve the Green City targets of 2015
· Using two wheels around Bristol saving on parking
and congestion
· Being able to travel anywhere in the city fast and
economically using the latest electrically powered bikes
· Getting around with out the uncomfortable stickyness from the summer heat

businesses,

hear that George Ferguson is cycling his talk in regards to green transport,

Bristol is being noticed world wide for its innovative and forward thinking
council. We hope Ferguson’s purchase encourages more people to think about
their transport options, and maybe move from four wheels to two if
possible.”
